Jyn sat, too, shoulders and thighs pressing together as she took a deep breath and leaned in close, whispering against his ear every single detail that she was privy to - from the ground battle of Endor to Luke Skywalker's battle on the Death Star itself, and even some of the massive celebrations afterward.

She was sure she was missing some details, but for the most part, what she ended up sharing was as correct as she was aware of it to be. She could understand his disbelief, his incredulity - this was a war he thought would never be won, that he would never survive.

But here they were.

They'd just have to figure it out.
