Jyn hoped they'd find steadier footing - that they would have the time in which to do so. But after all the admissions they'd shared with each other during the past hours, maybe it made sense that everything now felt so uncertain and tenuous. She didn't know where she stood anymore, whether or not what she wanted wouldn't somehow cross any unspoken boundaries.
